Can I Participate (and if so, how)?

You can apply to participate, yes. The application processes involves a web based form to complete and then a follow up interview via an online audio call if you are progressed to the interview stage.

If you are less interested in becoming a Helltræf Participant and more interested in working with us on a campaign or to further mutual aims then we would love to hear from you – we do not exclude any groups from this and you do not have to be Satanists. We will work with any group that shares our Principles, even Christian groups.

However, if you do wish to become a participant then we need to be sure you understand the following before applying – both the web form and (if your application moves to stage two) the interview will ask you about them;

We are non-theists/atheists. We do not believe in any kind of supernatural being, be it Satan or God. If you do, then we are not the right organisation for you.

We don’t believe in the existence of a soul so if you think you can sell yours to the Devil, we are not the right organisation for you.

Although we believe that young people can have a full understanding of Satanism we do not accept any applicant that is under 18 years of age. Too often in the past Satanism has been associated (mostly falsely) with recruiting or manipulating children and it is simply not worth exposing ourselves to that accusation.

We don’t harm animals or any other living being in our rituals. If that’s what you’re after, please make an immediate appointment with a mental health professional.

We do not tolerate intolerance. We are antifascist and anti-bigot. This means we do not tolerate fascism, racism, colonialism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, ableism, ageism, casteism, consent violations or apologia for these things. We expect the same from you.

The Principles are a guide to how we live our lives. If you disagree with them, we are not the right organisation for you.

Remember it is perfectly valid to be a Satanist without the necessity of joining an organisation. Think hard on the reasons you want to join one and why you feel this particular one is right for you.

6. What skills do you have to help Helltræf be more effective? For example, graphic design, organisational, social media, video editing, etc.

These are not requirements and you won't be excluded if you don't have them.
