Helltræf’s Principles

Satanism helps define how we live our lives & interact with other people. Our Principles guide and empower us to live a Satanic lifestyle.

  1. We celebrate the uniqueness and autonomy of all humans, and we live accordingly.
  2. We will never accept anyone forcing their ideas on others, and we should actively combat such behaviour.
  3. As reasoning beings we respect science, employed with compassion.
  4. We are all human, and therefore fallible. We accept this in ourselves and work to correct our own failings and we expect the same from others.
  5. Laws and institutions are created by humans, and are fallible too. We will not blindly obey them.
  6. Nature and the planet we live on sustain our existence. We respect nature as without it, we are no longer viable.
  7. Whilst wrongdoing clearly exists, sin does not exist. Sin is a set of arbitrary concepts invented to keep us placid and obedient. We sin with pleasure.
  8. We do not gatekeep Satanism, or any religion. If your principles match ours, that’s what matters to us.
  9. Our principles are not set in stone. They are aims, not commandments. We are humans, capable of change and there is no reason to assume we are infallible.

Helltræf’s Organisational Stance

We recognise that there are lots of good organisations and charities already established in the sectors we might want to support and, where they exist, we acknowledge their expertise. Therefore instead of creating division by muscling in, we will instead raise money for them. Here is a list of organisations that Helltræf, or individuals within Helltræf, have supported via campaigns in the past.

We will only ever support organisations/charities that challenge fascism and bigotry and/or support victims of those things, especially where theist religions are part of the oppression.

100% of all profit (if any) we make from either the webshop or the in-person markets we attend will go to the organisations and charities we support.

We will publicly publish the details of our financial year, once a year, for maximum transparency and accountability.

Any software we use will endeavour to be open source and privacy respecting where possible.
